From Hamilton Island, Cruise Whitsundays, operates regular services from the Great Barrier Reef airport on Hamilton island with a direct catamaran cruise to long island for its visitors that take approximately 35 minutes. You also have the option to make your way by air, coach, rail or car to Airlie beach where from Shute Harbour, at Airlie a ferry cruises can be organised to take you to Long Island for you holiday destination. All of the coach service run direct routes in Airlie Beach, though if you decide to travel via air you will land at Proserpine which is approximately 30 minutes out of Airlie Beach and there will be a shuttle bus waiting your arrival to take you to Shute Harbour for your connecting ferry cruise.
