Long Island is located in the Whitsunday passage just of the Queensland Coast. Flights from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane arrive daily to Hamilton Island Airport where a cruise boat will be waiting to take you across to Shute Harbour at Airlie beach where you will connect with one of Fantasea's Cruise boats to travel across to Long Island. You also have the option to fly into Proserpine which is located just 30 minutes out of Airlie beach, with either Jetstar or Virgin Blue Airlines, and then jump onto a shuttle bus that will take you directly to Shute Harbour where you will board a ferry to travel across the Coral Sea to your destination Island.
